He's just wanted to skip camp so he can rest up for his 2,500 rushing yards this season.
Interested in him in d4? Dirt cheap salary.
Give you a 4th round rookie for him

Hopefully this gets resolved quickly - these holdouts typically seem to result in a loss in production over the course of the NFL season. The only guy I can remember having success after a prolonged holdout was Emmitt Smith in 1993. He still put up nearly 1500 yards rushing even though he missed the first 2 games of the season - he did have a big drop off in TDs though to 9. (In full disclosure, I am relying on wikipedia for the accuracy of this info.)

''I had no intention on holding out,'' Charles tweeted. ''I just ran out of gas on the way to camp and my cellphone battery died. It was a long walk I tell ya.''

He basically got a 1 year raise. Good for him.
From Rotoworld.
Jamaal Charles' new contract includes no guaranteed money beyond 2014.
So that means Charles' "four-year, $28 million contract" is really a one-year, $8.3 million contract. It's still a huge raise for a player who was set to earn only $3.9 million, but just the latest reminder that the vast majority of the league's players are on year-to-year deals. Charles can earn up to $6.45 million between salary and bonuses in 2015. It's highly unlikely he's cut next offseason.
