Here's my first draft at my fantasy baseball top 10 rankings for 2014.  The talent in the first 2-3 rounds is deep but definitely not top heavy (outside of Trout/Cabrera).  If you can't pick 1/2 I'd much prefer to have the wheel pick at the end of round 1.
1. Mike Trout - He does it all, cant beat him in a 5x5.  In points league I'd take Cabrera first.
2. Miguel Cabrera - It's more 1A/1B with Trout. Last year of 3B eligibility with move back to 1B following Prince deal
3. Clayton Kershaw - I'm all in. No other SP is even close
4. Andrew McCutchen - I don't love him as much as others but he's still really good and fills all categories.
5. Robinson Cano - HR totals should drop going from the Bronx to Safeco but he fills a lot of categories and the M's are getting better.
6. Carlos Gonzalez - So talented, so injury prone. Him being here is a testament to how weak round 1 is.
7. Prince Fielder - Love the move to Texas, park fits him like a glove (a really BIG glove)
8. Paul Goldschmidt - He took a massive leap last year, I'd like to see one more year before I go all in though
9. Evan Longoria - Finally stayed healthy all year. Tampa's lineup/park is a drag on his #s but upside is top 3 at a scarce position.
10. Bryce Harper - He looks ready to take the leap, he just needs to stop slamming in to walls face first.
Just missed the cut (in no particular order)
Chris Davis - I'm probably not drafting him here but someone will. He always had the talent.
Troy Tulowitzki - Big time talent at a rare position.  Enjoy the 57 games you get from him.
Joey Votto - Definitely in my top 10 in OBP leagues
Ryan Braun - Still good off-roids just not top 3 good.
Yasiel Puig - Talented but need to see more than half a season
Yu Darvish - If anyone is going to best Kershaw, Darvish will. Could eclipse 300K's

I am dropping Cano down my list. I wouldn't take him in the 1st round anymore. Maybe I am giving too much credit to that ballpark but I just see his numbers dropping back to the pack this season. I don't see the value in taking Cano in the first anymore. This is coming from a guy that has drafted him in the 1st many times. I don't have a top 10 yet but my top 5 would be as follows.

1. Trout

2. Miggy

3. Goldschmidt

4. Clutch

5. Cargo (I'm a sucker for this guy)

I can't wait for fantasy baseball season to begin. I love fantasy baseball roto drafts.

Id have a hard time taking Goldy that high, even though he was awesome last year.  I could have had him for a steal last year but I already had Votto on my team so I passed him up... bad move.  I always play it safe on players coming off their first career year, sometimes its the right move, sometimes I miss out on another step.
