I am so ready for the season to begin: two weeks from today, OSU kicks off at VT.  I am a 1994 Ohio State alumni and will be able to attend a couple of home games this season and perhaps one away game.

Rooting for the Big 10 of course: week one matchups vs TCU and Bama!

If you mean lose to Virginia tech in the first game of the season, YES. if you mean winning the playoffs, NO.

After a couple of days to process Ohio State's first game, here are my thoughts: I am surprised that Cardale Jones started. I would have bet a lot money that JT Barrett would win the job. At any rate, Jones was effective, especially running the ball. Obviously, Braxton Miller is an incredible athlete. Despite the 2nd quarter let down, this team appears to be fully loaded. It is hard to believe that OSU was actually missing four starters. I will be glad when Zeke isn't returning punts any longer. Other than Miller's sick spin, two other notables: Elliott's block to spring him on same play:

And Michael Thomas' incredible move:

Up next: Hawaii
