Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were arrested for possession of marijuana Wednesday, while Bell was also booked for DUI.

Bell and Blount allegedly had 20 grams of pot and were accompanied by a female, who was in possession of two grams. All three were said to be "cooperative," and admitted to the crimes. While this obviously isn't good news, it may have no affect on Bell or Blount's status for the 2014 season. Bell had zero off-field concerns coming out of Michigan State. Blount has a shaky track record. Both will be in line for potential suspensions once the case is resolved.

Move 'em down your draft list!  Bell was beginning to trend downward for me on the news he was losing more carries to Blount, but this stupidity really  clarifies his status for me.  Last week I would have argued that Bell was worthy of consideration to draft at the end of the 1st round or beginning of the 2nd round in a 12 team league. Now I'd definitely pass at that spot - I think you have to draft Bell under the assumption that he will get a four game suspension.

I'm going to back off of this a bit - I just read that Dwayne Bowe only received a one game suspension for his offense which occurred last season.  Seems like Bell and Blount will catch a break in that the NFL may not act until the courts decide the case.

I will be shocked if either player gets any suspension at all this year.
