It's no secret that the Trough message board is, well... dying and if you missed it there's a really great (albeit, sad) discussion going on here. 

 

After discussing it with a friend of mine who works in marketing, he told me that they recently closed their forum (a subscription based marketing group) in favor of a Facebook group and while I'm not looking to close down the board, a move in a more modern direction might make sense here.  

 

So with all that said, we now have a brand new Facebook Group that you can find here: https://www.facebook...fantasyfootball

 

The group is open to anyone and you won't need a special invite so sign up and invite your fantasy football loving friends along. Feel free to ask questions, post news updates or just discuss how much the Eagles suck.

Its this internet place that Comboz denied existed for quite some time...and then when a long-time friend finally made her move to Arizona Comboz realized that if she was going to stay in touch with this friend the easiest way was to drink the Kool Aid and sign up.

Which was a BIG reason as to why I got off facebook.

Found it on Facebook. But not the same. Well there are 1,500 likes. So maybe more peeps will come here. I know I am guilty for not being on here. But maybe with preseason games coming soon. There may be a rise of activity???

Joined the facebook page, waiting to be accepted. The page says it is a closed group, which means someone is going to have to pay attention/administrate the site to allow people to join. You will get more exposure with FB, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet.

Even if it was open you'd still have to request to join/be approved, the only difference between open/closed is that it doesn't show content to the public (aka... your other FB friends)

By the way, just want to say that I appreciate that it is a closed group and the content is only visible to group members.  Its nice to keep the 'worlds' separate.
